There are two things I can never find a good full proof recipe for, one is vanilla cake and the other has always been chocolate chip cookies. They are the most basic, staple desserts but for some reason I have always been picky when it has come to perfecting these two dessert recipes. I have tried probably 100 chocolate chip cookie recipes - I have been baking every since I was a kid.
Before this recipe that I discovered I would just use the premade cookie dough from the grocery store. Which I never like to do, I would rather make everything from scratch. Although, I did like to eat that roll of raw cookie dough with a spoon while watching reality t.v. - I do not recommend that! I finally found a recipe that I can whip out anytime I need to make chocolate chip cookies!
The Recipe
The Wet Ingredients
The Dry Ingredients
Combine both mixtures than add chocolate chips. I added 3/4 cups of chocolate BUT its chocolate so add as much or as little as you like!
NOW roll into 20 balls on a baking tray. I greased the tray just a little.
Make sure to chill the cookie dough balls in the fridge for 1-2 hours before you bake.
Bake the cookies for 350 for 8-10 minutes.
All ovens are a little different when it comes to baking. Best way to find out if your cookies are done is to see if the edges and bottom of your cookie is golden brown. That is how you know they are done.
Once they are done let them chill on the counter for 10 minutes . OR just eat them hot like I do because I have NO WILL POWER .
