We live in Canada where the fall nights get real cold and you just want to swear thick sweaters, be warm and cozy. That sometimes means that the fit you want to wear goes out the window and your main focus is staying warm. - Which I get!
I am the worst. I am always so cold. I have all these cute, grungy, chic etc.. Outfits planned and I never wear them because I can not deal with the cold weather.
Fall goes in a blink of an eye and winter comes and its even more cold.
You know I love Uniqlo! I have so many of their coats, trousers, wind breakers, tops etc..
My co-workers have mentioned Uniqlo HEATTACH a lot because of how I am always complaining about getting cold. I should of picked some up when I went to my trip to Alberta in January! I don't know why I never picked it up because it is amazing like all things Uniqlo has. The technology behind it, the style and fit are well thought out.
This amazing fabric not only retains heat but It actually generates warmth, too. 11-micron fibres capture the energy of water particles released from the body at the nano level, and convert this energy into heat.
The collection is available in 3 different levels
HEATTACH
HEATTECH Extra warm
HEATTEACH Ultra warm

Uniqlo also provides a chart as to what level you need based on what activity you will be doing - skiing, camping etc..
The collection is great because it is not just for wearing under your sweater, but they also have some great basics that you can wear on there own. Even if you want to layer it - its stylish layering without the bulk.
Functions of HEATTECH

- Insulating layers between fabrics to retentions heat
What I am wearing from the collection
HEATTECH Ultra Warm Leggings
basic black leggings are a staple. Wear them on their own or under jeans. It is great paired with their scoop neck for a cozy stay at home outfit.
HEATTECH Ultra Light Turtleneck Long-Sleeve T-Shirt
such a pretty shade of green! To wear these with a light wash jean and a leather jacket would be such a great look. Again, you could also layer this and wear it underneath your sweater. I love wearing it with a light wash of jeans.
HEATTECH Scoop Neck Long-Sleeve T-Shirt
another great basic and you can not go wrong with this colour! Comes in 7 other colours including a beautiful wine red colour perfect for fall winter

LINEN BLEND PLEATED WIDE PANTS ( similar Uniqlo pair)
Office Wear
SMART ANKLE PANTS (SIMILAR Uniqlo pair)
bra top is perfect for all aspects of your life so I styled it in 3 of the main ways I know you guys will wear it: casual wear, activewear, and office wear!
I would also like to say the trousers are soo good, they fit perfectly lightweight, breathable, again a great staple for your capsule wardrobe.
And their windbreaker is perfect for our Canadian weather. I also love that it comes with a bag that you can put it in. Personally I love that because some days you leave the house and its sunny, and then all of a sudden it starts pouring, or gets chilly. I love compact, easy to take with you windbreakers.
Wow, I was attracted by this green inner top at first glance. I am currently looking for a similar style ~ one that is not baggy and looks very stylish, and I also like this color 😀~

I know it so true fall and spring seem super short and it seems we always go from hot to cold and then cold to hot. Yes heattech is great. And have you heard of those thermal leggings that look like shear black stocking, so crazy.
